Bogroy Cottage is a spacious, well appointed four bedroom holiday home situated on the edge of Carrbridge, a pleasant Highland village just seven miles north of Aviemore. Blending traditional and modern design, the cottage sleeps up to eight people, with two double and two twin bedrooms, and is ideal for self catering holidays.
The cottage was built on the site of a derelict croft house, and the design of the building reflects this. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining table that seats eight and a wood burning stove, making it a lovely place to sit as a family at the end of a day exploring the Cairngorm National Park. The main sitting room has been comfortably appointed with settees and easy chairs for eight, and also has an open fire and large flat screen TV with DVD player and Freesat for relaxing nights in. The second sitting room has French doors overlooking the outside terrace, and also has a log burning stove.
Also on the ground floor there is a twin bedroom, family bathroom with shower over the bath and shower room, as well as a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, perfect for drying off damp clothing. Upstairs there is a second twin bedroom and two double bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided in each room, and the bedrooms have everything you need in them for a comfortable stay.
The cottage is fully double glazed and all electricity is included in the cost of your stay, as well as wood and coal for the fires. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and we've tried to provide everything you need for a relaxing visit. So that you can bring the whole family, we're happy for you to bring pets.
The cottage can be booked all year round for full week Saturday to Saturday stays, and outside peak periods midweek stays and weekends are available. For other check in/out days please contact us to confirm whether we can accommodate your requirements.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bogroy Cottage, and hope you have a wonderful visit to this glorious area of natural beauty. If you have any questions about the cottage or the area or if we can help in any way, please feel free to get in touch with us.
